Onboarding Checklist

Use this checklist to make sure your GaugeWell account is fully set up and ready to deliver value.

Account Setup

  • Accept your invitation — Click the link in your welcome email to create your account
  • Set a strong password — Use at least 12 characters with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols
  • Enable two-factor authentication — Go to Settings → Security to add 2FA for extra protection
  • Complete your profile — Add your name and contact details in Settings → Profile

Pre-Formation Accounts (Forming or Idea Stage)

  • Review your pre-formation checklist — If your business is still forming, complete the checklist shown after signup
  • Verify your email — Use the resend action on the checklist page if needed
  • Add your website when ready — In onboarding/settings, generate a website verification token so GaugeWell can safely match existing business data
  • Finish business profile details later — Legal name, website, and location can be completed after account creation

Portal Orientation

  • Review your Dashboard — Check your visibility score, KPIs, and action items
  • Explore the Visibility page — See your website health, SEO scores, and competitor comparison
  • Check your Documents — View any signed contracts and agreements
  • Browse Content Suggestions — See AI-generated content waiting for your review
  • Use gate cards when access is locked — If you see an Upgrade or Client Setup card, use the CTA for billing setup, account-manager contact, or optional demo preview

Content & Communication

  • Review pending content — Approve or provide feedback on any content in your queue
  • Check your Goals — Review the goals your account team has set and track progress
  • Explore the Proofing tool — If you have active reviews, annotate and provide feedback on designs

Billing & Subscription

  • Verify your plan — Check Settings → Billing to confirm your subscription tier
  • Review invoices — Access your billing history and download receipts

What Happens Next

Once your account is set up:

  1. Your first scan completes — Within 24-48 hours, your initial website audit will populate your dashboard with scores and recommendations
  2. Content starts flowing — Your account team will begin generating content tailored to your business
  3. Regular check-ins — Expect weekly or bi-weekly updates from your account manager on progress and results
