Your First Week with GaugeWell

A day-by-day guide to getting the most out of your GaugeWell portal in your first week.

Day 1: Get Oriented

Log in and explore

Visit portal.gaugewell.io  and take a tour of the main sections: Dashboard, Visibility, Content, Documents, and Settings.

Review your Dashboard

Your dashboard shows your key performance indicators (KPIs), visibility score, and any action items that need attention. If your first scan hasn’t completed yet, you’ll see a Getting Started guide instead.

Check your profile

Go to Settings to verify your name, email, and notification preferences are correct.

Day 2: Understand Your Scores

Visit the Visibility page

Your visibility score breaks down into multiple categories: website health, SEO performance, social presence, and reputation. Each category has specific recommendations.

Review action items

Action items are prioritized tasks that will improve your scores. High-priority items have the biggest impact — start there.

Check competitor comparison

If competitor data is available, see how you stack up against similar businesses in your area.

Day 3: Content Review

Check Content Suggestions

If your account team has generated content for you, it will appear in Content Suggestions. Review each piece and either approve it or provide feedback.

Explore the Content hub

The Content section links to your CMS pages, content performance metrics, and templates. Familiarize yourself with the layout.

Provide feedback

Use the Request Changes option to give specific feedback on any content that needs adjustments. The more specific your feedback, the faster revisions can be made.

Approving content promptly keeps your marketing schedule on track. We recommend reviewing within 48 hours.

Day 4: Documents & Contracts

Review your Documents page

All signed contracts and agreements are stored here. You can view them online or download PDF copies.

Check contract status

Active contracts show their current status. If anything looks incorrect, contact your account manager.

Day 5: Goals & Proofing

Review your Goals

Goals track measurable targets like new patients per month, average rating, or revenue growth. Check progress and understand what’s being measured.

Try the Proofing tool

If you have active proofing reviews, click into one to see how the annotation system works. You can place pins, draw highlights, and leave comments directly on page screenshots.

Export your data

Try the Export CSV button on the Goals or Dashboard page to download your data for your own records or reporting.

Day 6-7: Settle In

By the end of your first week, you should be comfortable with:

  • Navigating the portal sections
  • Understanding your visibility scores and what they mean
  • Reviewing and approving content
  • Tracking goals and action items
  • Using the proofing annotation tools
