How often are my scores updated?
Scores are updated based on regular automated scans:
- Website Health - Weekly scans
- Visibility - Weekly scans
- Reputation - Daily review monitoring
- Content - Real-time as content is published
Major changes to your website or online presence may take 24-48 hours to reflect in your scores.
Can multiple users share an account?
Yes! Depending on your plan, you can add team members with different access levels. Contact your account manager to add users.

How are scores calculated?
Each score is calculated from multiple factors weighted by importance:
Visibility Score includes:
- Search rankings (40%)
- Google Business Profile (30%)
- Directory listings (20%)
- Local SEO factors (10%)
Website Health includes:
- Page speed (40%)
- Mobile-friendliness (25%)
- Security (20%)
- Accessibility (15%)
Why did my score change?
Scores can change for several reasons:
- Website updates or changes
- New reviews or review responses
- Search algorithm updates
- Competitor activity
- Seasonal trends

What’s a good score?

| 80+ | Excellent - You’re outperforming most businesses |
| 60-79 | Good - Solid performance with room for improvement |

Content & Proofing
How long is the content review window?
We recommend reviewing content within 48 hours to keep your marketing schedule on track. Content waiting longer than 48 hours will show a reminder notification.
Can content be edited directly?
You can request specific changes through the proofing interface. For extensive edits, use the “Request Changes” option and describe what you’d like modified.
What happens after content is approved?
Once approved, content moves to the publishing queue. Depending on the content type:
- Blog posts are typically published within 1-2 business days
- Social media posts are scheduled according to your content calendar
- Email campaigns are sent at the specified time
Account & Billing
How do I reset my password?
- Go to portal.gaugewell.io
- Click “Forgot Password?”
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for reset instructions
How do I update my billing information?
Contact your account manager or email billing@gaugewell.io to update payment details.
Can I cancel my account?
Contact your account manager to discuss your options. We require 30 days notice for cancellation.
Technical Issues
The portal isn’t loading properly
Try these troubleshooting steps:
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
- Disable browser extensions
- Check your internet connection
Seeing outdated information
Data syncs may take up to 24 hours. If information is more than 24 hours out of date, contact support@gaugewell.io.
The page shows an error
Take a screenshot of the error and email it to support@gaugewell.io with:
- What you were trying to do
- The time the error occurred
- Your browser and device type
